This sounds fantastic but not knowing that much about security I am loth to leave my computers on at all times.
Is GridRepublic just for tech geeks?

I am a BOINC enthusiast and am using GridRepublic to control most of my projects. I have too many to list, but over 25 is the current count. I think everyone in the world should join volunteer computing and use my spare time to bring more to volunteer computing through GridRepublic. I don’t remember when I joined SETI@home, but it was before BOINC :)
