This is very interesting. Have you heard of the new OASIS OAXAL (Open Architecture for XML Authoring and Localization) TC. There is an inital article on the concept on xml.com (http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2007/02/21/oaxal-open-architecture-for-xml-authoring-and-localization.html) - think of it as SOA for DITA documents and the TC page is: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/oaxal/ it would be good to coordinate the activities of both groups.</description>
